Active dimming for the interior lighting of vehicles

The active dimming feature for vehicle interiors increases travelling comfort and reduces energy consumption.
The control unit for active dimming uses sensors to adjust the interior lighting of a vehicle based on exterior light conditions. The control unit can be set for minimum lighting requirements, in which case the desired lighting level is obtained by the optimal use of the lights, that is, with minimum energy consumption. The active dimming of both fluorescent and LED lights works with the Teknoware electronic unit.
