Teknoware was chosen to supply LED emergency lighting luminaires for 40 double-deck IC passenger rail cars manufactured by Transtech for the Finnish National Railway, VR Group.
Deliveries began at the end of 2010 and will continue until the end of March 2012. 540 pieces of 6x1 W LED emergency lighting luminaires will be installed in these passenger rail cars to illuminate the open spaces in the centre corridors. Long-lasting LEDs considerably reduce the need for maintenance. Teknoware also supplies these rail cars with halogen and fluorescent lights for spot, general and specialty lighting.
