Teknoware’s LED lighting for New Bus for London

Teknoware Oy has been selected to be the interior lighting supplier for the New Bus for London project.
LED based interior lighting will be supplied to Northern Ireland based bus manufacturer Wrightbus Ltd, one of the biggest bus manufacturers in UK and Teknoware's long term customer. The interior lighting has been designed in close co-operation with the customer to meet very strict technical specifications and has unique design features.
Long-life and low energy LED lighting has a role to provide "green" busses for Londoner's. The total number of the buses manufactured will be dependent on the bus routes chosen for operational conversion, and though this has yet to be confirmed, several hundred are expected to be supplied to the busiest central London routes. The New Bus for London is being designed and developed by Wrightbus Ltd with collaborative design partner Heatherwick Studio.
